R-G Group Celebrates Convocation and New Beginnings

It was another busy and exciting day at Spring Convocation 2026 for the R-G Group, as Dr. Angela Awada-Roberto and Dr. Fatemeh Motaghedi officially received their PhDs in Chemistry! 🎓

Congratulations to Angela, who has now started an exciting new chapter at Jamieson, and to Fatemeh, who is continuing her research journey as a postdoctoral fellow at Ontario Tech University. These are fantastic achievements, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished during their time with the group. 👏

We are also thrilled that Nicole Vanier will be staying with us for the summer following the completion of her bachelor of science degree. We look forward to continuing to work with her and seeing her contributions to the group’s research activities.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the newest graduates from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for their incredible accomplishments. Wishing everyone continued success in their next chapter!
