Summer News Update

Summer is an undoubtedly a busy season for the R-G Group! Here are some news from inside and outside the lab for the R-G group members





- Sincere congratulations to Mark Potter on his well-deserved recognition – the 2023 Burgener Research Graduate Student Travel Award! Thanks to this support, Mark was able to showcase his cutting-edge research findings at the 65th International Conference on Analytical Sciences and Spectroscopy.




- Our team extends a warm welcome to Rachael Warner and Deanna Fisher, the latest additions to our ranks. Having completed their undergraduate honours theses in the R-G Group, they now embark on their journey as M.Sc. students. Stay tune for forthcoming exciting research in the realm of conjugated polymer design and fluorescence sensing!



- Congratulations to Tala Seifi, undergraduate student in the R-G group for being awarded a NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award 2023 (USRA). Thanks to this support, Tala spent the Summer on developing novel crosslinking routes for semiconducting polymers! Stay tuned for more updates shortly!





- Welcome to Daniela Romero and Monica Magallon, both visiting our lab for the Summer as MITACS Globalink research interns!






- Big congratulations to PhD candidates Madison Mooney and Blake St. Onge, who both successfully presented their thesis seminars over the last couple of months! "
