🎉 Congratulations to Deanna Fisher, M.Sc. 🎉

We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of Deanna Fisher’s M.Sc. degree in the R-G Group, co-supervised with Dr. Bulent Mutus! 🎓

Deanna’s work advanced the frontiers of novel sensor systems, developing fluorescence-based strategies for hydrogen detection and pioneering innovative approaches for microplastics detection. Her research was carried out in close collaboration with Dr. Marcus Drover (Western University) and his team—a true example of the power of interdisciplinary science.

Through her creativity, resilience, and rigor, Deanna has made a lasting impact on our group’s research. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and excited to see all that she will accomplish in the next chapter of her career.
