The entire R-G group is incredibly proud to share that Madison, a former member of the team, has been awarded the Governor General’s Gold Medal for her exceptional achievements in graduate research. Her work has pushed the boundaries of semiconducting polymers and organic electronics, making them greener, more sustainable, and higher performing.

For nearly 150 years, the Governor General’s Academic Medals have celebrated Canada’s top scholars for their outstanding academic accomplishments, continuing a long tradition of honouring excellence in research and innovation across the country.

Congratulations, Madison, from all of us in the R-G Group! We can’t wait to see where your career takes you next.

P.S. Madison is the second graduate from our lab to receive this prestigious distinction, following Dr. Michael Ocheje in 2022, another proud milestone for our team.
